Every day we are constantly bombarded about food and what we eat - whether it is images, news stories, fad diets, even just going to the supermarket or a restaurant can feel overwhelming.
Trying to keep track of the latest advice on what is deemed "healthy" is a potential minefield as there is SO much information/misinformation available that making an informed decision is not easy! And I am speaking from my perspective as a health professional with a background in science.
However, because I have both clinical and scientific experience and expertise gained over many years of research and clinical practice I can help disseminate and interpret this information, thus empowering you to make the optimal choices for your own health and well-being.
You may have been struggling with various aspects of your diet for years or recently been diagnosed with a condition that has a direct impact on what you can and cannot eat. You may also have concerns about how your diet impacts on your future health, such as prevention of cancer or heart disease. By seeking my advice we can work together to establish a diet that is right for you in terms of symptom relief, optimising your nutritional intake and ensuring you don't develop any nutritional deficiencies.
Any consultation would involve you providing me with as much information as possible such as a food or food and symptom diary ~ remember I can only work with the information that you provide me. Following my analysis and assessment we can then devise a plan/strategy that you can follow.
I have included a list of some of the most common issues that people are facing/concerned about that I can help you with. This list is not exhaustive so please feel free to contact me even if your concern/query is not mentioned.
